Lisa Green, D.O., M.P.H. is the CEO and a co-founder of Family Christian Health Center and has been a physician at the health center since its opened its doors in 2000. As FCHC’s CEO, Dr. Green has more than 16 years of experience practicing family medicine and providing leadership as a physician and executive. Prior to assuming the role as CEO, Dr. Green served as FCHC’s Chief Medical Officer for many years. Dr. Green received her M.P.H. in health, policy and administration from the University of Illinois, College of Medicine in 1995 and her Doctor of Osteopathic medicine from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa in 1991. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice.
Dr. Green received the Crain’s Chicago Business Healthcare Hero 2020 for her outstanding work with Black Maternal Health and Feeding the community health food to strengthen the immune system. Her current professional affiliations include member of Institute of Medicine of Chicago (IOMC), served as the Board of Directors for Ingalls Provider Group., voluntary faculty for the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, and associate faculty for the University of Illinois, Nurse Practitioner Program.
