Dr. Grasso joined Family Christian Health Center as the CTO/Consultant in 2019 and is a practicing physician in New Jersey. In addition to his clinical practice, he has served in multiple senior leadership positions in public, private, and not for profit organizations. He received an MBA in Finance and Business Process Reengineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst; a Master of Science in Information Systems from New Jersey Institute of Technology, a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery from Des Moines University, a Fellowship in Medical Informatics from NASA Yale University Commercial Space Center for Medical Informatics and Technology Applications (CSCMITA), a Fellowship in Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery from Yale University School of Medicine, a General Surgery Residency from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, an Internal Medicine Internship from Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine, a Year Abroad in Dante Studies & Culinary Arts at the University of Bologna, and a BA in Fine Arts/Chemistry from St. Peter’s University.
In addition, he has been heavily involved in Agile software development methodologies since its inception and holds active certifications as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Project Manager (PMP). Dr. Grasso has been active in global humanitarian relief efforts via his not-for-profit AYUDAMOS and has received Governmental Recognition of Humanitarian Service from Bolivia, Cambodia, Guatemala, Haiti, Nepal, Peru, Serbia, and Uganda.
