Vernice serves as a member for the Family Christian Health Center board of directors.

She has served in this capacity for the last 5 years and has been apart of the Family Christian Health Center family or the last 22 years. Currently, Vernice is a R.N at Advocate South Suburban Hospital where she also serves as Chair of the Shared Governance Committee and Nurse Practice Council.

Vernice prides herself in advocating for those who cannot advocate for themselves through excellent patient care and community wellness. Vernice resides in Homewood, IL with her husband, Jason, and is the proud mother of Anthony, Nya, and Ethan.
